The importance of the location of a business cannot be stressed enough.  As a guest house in Oxford we are very fortunate to be in an excellent location.

Customers choose a bed & breakfast, guest house or a hotel that best suits their needs and their budget. Sometimes one factor takes precedence over another and certain compromises are required. Some customers value location above everything else and are willing to pay that little bit extra. Others put a greater emphasis on facilities on offer. At our guest house in Oxford we are extremely fortunate to have large rooms with kitchenettes in all our bedrooms which gives our guests a greater freedom forbreakfastand indeed evening meals too.  This places us in a very good position for having a very strong and loyal customer loyalty.

Our guest house in the leafy and suburban setting of North Oxford offers a peaceful stay away from the noisy hustle and bustle of the city centre and indeed guest houses situated nears shops, restaurants and pubs.  The Marlborough House Hotel offers solace to the weary traveller.  Added to this immeasurable advantage is the fact that we are only a 7 minute walk away from the buzzing area of Summertown and a 15 minute walk away from Jericho - a laid-back, bohemian neighbourhood.

Our guest house in Oxford is only a 10 minute walk from the beautiful Port Meadow which rates 16 out of 89 places to visit when in Oxford.  Our guests do not need to walk along the busy Woodstock Road during the day if they wish to walk to the city centre. Oxford city centre is a 30 minute walk along the canal (Thames path) past some beautiful houses and enchanting scenery.

We look forward to welcoming you to this beautiful and peaceful part of Oxford and to our guest house in Oxford.
