More often than not Oxford is painted with a magical paintbrush.I know that at our guest house in Oxford we have always highlighted the abundance that a visit has to offer to the keen tourist.When we think of Oxford it conjures up in our minds a picture of students with their graduation gowns, scientists, historian, philosophers, and of course all the grandeur that comes with being the historical, cultural, and academic city that Oxford is.

It was during a search for events for the visitors to our guest house in Oxford during their visit this weekend that I came across this fantastic walking tour called, “Uncomfortable Oxford”.I thought, “bravo”, we now get to see another side of Oxford beside the glorified one we all know and love.It is certainly on my agenda to book this tour and learn for myself what the learned students of Oxford have to say about its uncomfortable past.

I have found that many guest's houses and bed and breakfast in Oxford are highly interested in offering their guests insights into the different aspects of Oxford.I am sure that many have already come across this informative website and offering it to their guests.Maybe, I am just a tad late in waking up to this fantastic walk but I do bring it to the guests at our guest house in Oxford with my best intentions to spark their interest.
